




We're developing a series of benches utilizing reclaimed pine for seats. The salvaged joists come from demolished buildings and homes in Philly. Minimalist and sleek, the bases will be available in all domestic hardwoods or painted in a variety of colors.
The process....

First, we scan the joist for nails, screws, etc. with a metal detector.


After that we cut the timbers to width on the tablesaw. Ugly, old wood becomes beautiful again! More to come.......
