Adam and I will be using ECO MADE as a forum for news about our projects as well as other items we find interesting. We plan on mining "the intersection of design, craft, and sustainability." What does that phrase mean? We both have a respect for materials and the products produced through human labor. We also have a healthy respect for the products of previous generations and the long tradition of creative re-use of those products.

Expect some posts shortly about our canoe and surfboard building projects. Canoe and kayak construction veteran Brad White is acting as our guide, and Adam's dad Paul has joined us on the excursion. Here's a teaser pic of Brad's canoe.
